Audio Cues 2024.08.1

Audio Cues is tailored for live performance, enabling users to produce and manage uncomplicated audio designs for theatre, dance, and various live entertainment settings using merely an Android device. This application offers flexibility for musicians needing backing tracks and magicians requiring sound effects, all within a user-friendly platform.

In-App Purchase: Unlimited Shows and Cues
Audio Cues allows users to manage up to 2 shows on each device and up to 10 cues per show without any costs or registration. An in-app purchase option facilitates the use of Unlimited Shows and Cues. Notably, these purchases are linked to Google accounts rather than the specific devices, ensuring that the Unlimited Shows and Cues package is accessible across any device linked to your account.

New Version in August 2024
The release of version 2024.08.1 is primarily a bug fix update that takes care of some longstanding issues. A key improvement is that Fade cues now function properly on Android 8 and later versions, even with system animations disabled.

Features
Audio Cues accommodates five types of cues:
• Audio cues support standard audio file formats such as WAV, OGG, among others.
• Fade cues adjust the volume and pan of the targeted audio cue between channels.
• Stop cues instantly halt ongoing audio cues.
• Pause/Play cues function as a toggle, pausing or resuming audio cues based on their current state.
• Go to cues allow users to leap directly to another cue and optionally commence playback immediately.

Additional features include:
• Compatibility with Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox for audio file transfers to Android devices.
• Support for Bluetooth media remote controls, keyboards, and Flic 2 buttons to activate cues during performances.
• An option to back up shows into ZIP files and restore them as needed.

Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts facilitate ease of use during performances:
• Up and down arrow keys for navigating the cue list.
• Space bar to activate the Go button.
• Escape key to cease all currently running cues.
• Customizable keyboard shortcuts for efficient navigation and cue management.

Importing Audio Files
Users can import audio files from various sources:
• File sharing services including Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive.
• External storage devices such as SD cards or thumb drives.
• The internal storage of the device itself.

The use of Audacity, a free desktop application, is recommended for creating audio files.
